9587317-76544 Job Description Step into a fulfilling role supporting student communication and learning as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a well-established educational setting near Fort Hood, TX. Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, this contract-to-hire opportunity offers a consistent schedule37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Youll work across 1-2 sites with K-12 students, directly impacting their educational experience. Bring your passion and expertise to a collaborative environment where youll assess, support, and inspire students at various stages of development. Whether youre a seasoned SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellow (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), your specialized skills will be highly valued.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Texas SLP licensure or eligibility required CCC, CFY, or SLPA credentials considered Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Comfortable working with K-12 student populations Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Able to travel between up to two sites as needed Proficient with technology for documentation (Teletherapy not required)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students in individual and group settings Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Conduct assessments, create IEP goals, and attend meetings as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Maintain accurate and timely records in alignment with district requirements This role offers the chance for a contract-to-hire pathway, supporting your professional growth in a setting renowned for its commitment to student well-being and learning.
