Key Qualifications:
State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required Prior experience in a school or educational environment preferred Strong assessment and intervention skills with diverse student populations Competent with developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in both in-person and digital documentation and reporting tools Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans to address students unique needs Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school protocols and state regulations Consult and communicate with educators, parents, and support staff to foster student progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide essential input for student goals and accommodations Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families regarding speech and language development
