Qualifications & Desired Background:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Texas Recent experience working in school settings, preferably with middle and high school students Comfortable conducting speech/language evaluations for elementary-aged children Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to middle and high school students, addressing both group and individual needs Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations with elementary students as requested Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with other professionals and families Serve as a resource and advocate for students, providing guidance to staff and parents as appropriate Maintain accurate, timely documentation for assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
