Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students' communication growth as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract position runs from August through the end of the school year, offering 37.5 hours weekly in a dynamic school setting near Manor, TX. Work with a diverse caseload of 40-45 students, using your expertise to help students thrive. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential. Ideal candidates will have a passion for fostering student success as part of a dedicated educational team. Whether you are an experienced SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow (CFY) seeking valuable school-based experience, you will find this opportunity engaging and rewarding.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Texas Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English SLP-CCC or strong candidates pursuing CFY Experience (or strong interest) working in school settings Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 40-45 students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs Deliver assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide direct therapy in both English and Spanish Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
