9608296-75457 Job Description Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) to a welcoming K-12 school environment. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with students at various grade levels, supporting their growth both academically and socially. This role is ideal for driven SLPs who value collaboration and meaningful interaction with children, families, and educational teams.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) School-based experience preferred, especially with diverse K-12 populations Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborative approach to working with educators and families
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students Develop and deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to student needs Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress Consult with teachers and parents to promote positive outcomes in the classroom Deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines for school-based therapy Provide support and resources for staff regarding communication disorders In this dynamic setting, youll have the rewarding experience of making a real difference in the lives of young learners each day.
