Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a thriving educational environment. As a contract SLP, you'll collaborate with an engaged team of educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals, making a direct, lasting impact every day.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with educational standards Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups Provide consultative support and training to teachers and parents Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for student progress and compliance Educate and empower students as they work toward their goals Imagine the satisfaction of guiding students to pivotal moments of progress, all while gaining valuable experience within a supportive school community.
