Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity delivering vital speech-language pathology services to elementary students in grades 1-5, as well as supporting a select group of 3-5-year-olds. This role centers on providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions, making a tangible impact on the lives of children as they develop essential communication skills. The caseload features 58 elementary students, along with several non-EBRO preschoolers, offering a rewarding blend of age groups and speech needs. Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering student growth, skilled in collaboration, and committed to evidence-based practice. Your expertise as an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) will be valued in a school-based setting focused on student progress and inclusion.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology Previous experience working with elementary caseloads preferred Skilled in conducting speech and language assessments and creating IEP goals Strong collaboration and communication skills for teaming with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary and preschool students Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students' needs Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support optimal outcomes Immerse yourself in a supportive environment where students rely on your expertise to find their voices and thrive.
