Job Description
Step into a vital contract opportunity serving middle and high school students in the Houston area, supporting their communication growth and academic success. This full-time speech-language pathologist role spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to collaborate with students from grades 6-8 or 10-12, with preferences considered in assignments. You'll manage a caseload of 50-60 students, with responsibilities tailored to your expertise—take on the full SLP scope (therapy, ARDs, testing) or focus on supervision if preferred. Qualifications & Experience Active Texas SLP licensure (Florida license also accepted) Must provide an image of your active license Experience in a school-based setting preferred Flexibility in working across middle or high school populations Ability to complete district credentialing, including fingerprinting (may be expedited if already on file) Comfortable with prescreen interview process Key Responsibilities Deliver assessment, therapy, and intervention services, or Provide supervision for SLP services as needed Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for ARDs and IEP meetings Maintain compliant, thorough documentation of student progress Build collaborative relationships with school staff and families Travel to assigned school(s) in the Houston area; placements considerate of your location Why Consider This Opportunity?
