Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered Previous work or practicums within schools, pediatric clinics, or child-focused settings Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and educational staff Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each child's needs Deliver evidence-based therapy sessionsone-on-one and in group settings Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and evaluation reports in compliance with school guidelines Participate in case conferences and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Youll enjoy the flexibility of a contract role, the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads, and the chance to gain invaluable school-based experience in a welcoming environment.
