Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support in a Middle School setting from April 1, 2026, through May 22, 2026. This position serves as a maternity leave replacement and involves an itinerant schedule between two campuses serving grades 6-8, working with approximately 100 students.

San Antonio, TX Work Setting:
On-site at two middle schools
Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

April 1, 2026 May 22, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services for students in grades 6-8 Manage a caseload of approximately 100 students, providing evaluations, treatment plans, and progress monitoring Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal standards Travel between the two assigned schools to provide consistent services
Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required Professional state license in speech-language pathology; provide current license documentation Successful completion of fingerprinting and background check prior to placement Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred Ability to work independently and manage itinerant schedule effectively Perks of this contract role include the chance to work within a supportive school district environment and contribute to the success of students during an important transitional time.
