This travel assignment offers 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7AM), working three days per week with the expectation of six weekend shifts per six-week period, providing impactful flexibility and the possibility to enjoy extended blocks of free time. Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current RN license in Texas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS
(AHA only), and TNCC certifications required One year of emergency department nursing experience preferred All newly hired experienced RNs must attend orientation and complete initial and annual competency verifications Participation in a residency or orientation program as needed for newly licensed
RNs Core Responsibilities:
Independently provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and efficacy Document patient history, interventions, and outcomes accurately Address emotional, psychological, and social needs of patients and families Educate patients and caregivers based on assessed needs Delegate and assign tasks appropriately to support effective clinical operations
