Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Texas Previous experience in a school setting preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and prioritize tasks Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy to approximately 55 students on one campus Assess, develop, and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs Monitor progress and maintain detailed data and reports in accordance with district and state requirements Consult with the Lead SLP, teachers, and families to ensure holistic student support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for optimal student outcomes Provide guidance to educators regarding communication supports and classroom strategies Complete required documentation in a timely, organized manner This contract runs from ASAP through May 12th, aligning with the academic calendar. The schedule is structured as 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, allowing for a predictable workweek and a balanced routine in the school environment.
