A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.
A Texas school district is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite services for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a full-time opportunity supporting K-12 students. The SLP will be responsible for providing speech and language services, conducting evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, collaborating with school staff and related service providers, and maintaining required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams Work collaboratively with OTs, PTs, special education teachers, and other related service providers Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and district staff Ensure compliance with school, district, and state requirements

Qualifications:
Active Texas SLP License required Previous school-based experience preferred Experience with evaluations, therapy, and IEP meetings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills Must be available full-time and able to work onsite

$82-$86/hour
