What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state SLP license and ASHA CCCs Previous experience in a school environment highly desired Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Excellent communication and collaboration skillsRole Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds Complete assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote classroom participation and inclusion Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements Whats in It forYou:
