Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP licensure in Texas (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in pediatric, early childhood, and elementary settings Strong knowledge of assessment protocols, IEP development, and progress monitoring Superior communication and problem-solving skills Previous school-based SLP experience is advantageous, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement therapy plans for K12 students according to IEP requirements Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Maintain accurate records and track progress Adjust interventions based on individual student needs and caseload demands
