9619892-77479 Job Description Step into an exciting contract opportunity to make a difference in the lives of middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role, set near the vibrant southwest Houston area, is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting communication development and academic achievement in grades 6-8 or 10-12. As a full-time provider, you will enjoy a meaningful caseload of approximately 50-60 students, with school assignments thoughtfully considered based on your ZIP code preference. Whether youre a seasoned SLP or an enthusiastic Clinical Fellow (CFY), your expertise will be valuedwhether providing a full scope of therapy, ARD meeting participation, and evaluation duties, or focusing on supervision. The district welcomes your input on the setting (middle or high school) and matches responsibilities to your strengths.

Active Texas FL Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (please include an image of your license with your application) Comfort working with middle or high school students Ability to manage a caseload of 50-60 students Flexibility to perform a full range of SLP services or provide supervision only Strong organizational and communication skills Willingness to complete district-required fingerprinting, if not already on file Open-mindedness to school assignments based on your location preference New graduates and CFYs encouraged to apply Responsibilities include: Delivering individual and group therapy in line with students goals Participating in ARD meetings and collaborating with teachers and staff Conducting evaluations and contributing to multidisciplinary teams Maintaining thorough documentation for student progress Experience a supportive environment that respects your abilities and preferences.
