SLP Job Type Contract Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive K-12 school team in Taylor, TX for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position serving students across multiple grade levels, providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and committed to helping learners achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) Provide direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development Support students with a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply, if applicable) Previous school-based experience preferred but not required Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
