Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology License for the state of Texas is required Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligible for either Experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred, but new graduates will be considered Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to partner with students, staff, and families Organizational skills to manage documentation and caseload efficiently
Role Overview:
Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative speech and language services for K-12 students throughout the district Design individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct progress monitoring Collaborate closely with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to support student achievement Maintain comprehensive records and fulfill all state and federal compliance requirements Participate in school-based meetings and professional development opportunities Adapt interventions to meet the needs of diverse learners in individual and group settings
