Job Description

Step into a dynamic and rewarding school-based contract position where youll provide speech-language therapy services to high school students in a vibrant academic environment. This opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through early June 2027, allowing for longitudinal support of students' communication goals and ongoing professional development. Ideal candidates possess current SLP licensure, as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. While bilingual abilities are valued, they are not required. Working closely with educators and staff, you will play a vital role in student success, helping young learners achieve their speech and language milestones.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license and CCC-SLP certification Experience or interest in a school-based setting, especially with high school students Ability to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not mandatory Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to high school students as outlined in IEPs Conduct evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth Maintain timely records and ongoing documentation Youll enjoy a consistent full-time schedule with 37.5 hours weekly, supporting a diverse caseload.
