Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary Root for Kids mission is to nurture strong beginnings in all children and we are seeking someone who wants to make a difference for children in our community. Part-time, somewhat flexible schedule. This individual will provide Speech Therapy to children ages birth to three in a home-visit model as prescribed by the child's Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). Will conduct standardized, criterion referenced and observational assessments to determine eligibility and functioning of referred children. Will collaborate with team members to ensure and monitor the timely delivery of identified evidence-based Speech Therapy services. Will address the priorities and concerns of the family and support them by developing appropriate child and family goals that can be carried out in the child's natural environment. Must be licensed in the State of Utah with a license in Arizona a plus. Root for Kids may provide supervision for obtaining CCCs. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. Experience working in an early intervention program preferred. Must have good record keeping and data entry skills Requires a person with full mobility, the ability to see, hear and speak, and lift up to 20 lbs. Reasonable accommodation can be made as necessary. Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
