Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Alta Health Services of Tooele, UT is pleased to announce a full time opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist. Rocky Mountain Care in Tooele is a leader in skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services. Our care center in Tooele provides exceptional care for our patients and encourages family involvement during the rehabilitation process. We are fully staffed with local nurses, therapists, and office personnel who develop individualized wellness plans for our patients. Please join us in our beautiful new state of the art facility tucked away in beautiful Tooele, UT. Our SLP will be responsible for the following: Evaluating levels of swallowing, speech and language difficulty Identifying treatment options Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs Teaching patients how to make sounds while improving their voices and maintaining fluency Helping individuals improve sentence structure and vocabulary used in written and oral language Working with patients in developing and strengthening muscles used to swallow Counseling individuals and families on ways to cope with swallowing and communication disorders Because of your support, we are able to provide leading care options with one-on-one attention and quality care.
