Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant, student-focused school setting. This contract role offers you the opportunity to support elementary students and help them achieve their communication and language goals. The assignment spans from August 17, 2026, to June 7, 2027, and is based near Ashland, VA. Engage with a manageable caseload of roughly 40 students across 2-3 elementary schools, allowing you to make an enduring impact within a welcoming educational community.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current or eligible state SLP license SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for elementary-aged students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes Maintain documentation and monitor student progress Travel between 2-3 local schools as part of the assignment
Schedule:
