May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.
Position Overview The Reading & Language Learning Center (RLLC), a private speech-language therapy practice serving Northern Virginia and Washington, DC, is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to provide afternoon and evening speech, language, and literacy services within our Chantilly clinic and virtual setting. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking consistent after-school hours within a collaborative, literacy-focused private practice environment. We are seeking a clinician interested in building a long-term role within a supportive practice with opportunities for continued clinical growth and specialization. Position Details Part-time role based in Chantilly, VA After school schedule between approximately 3:00 PM-7:00 PM Combination of in-clinic and virtual services, with regular in-person clinic hours expected Pediatric and school-aged caseload No weekends Clinical Focus Our clinicians support children and adolescents with speech, language, literacy, executive functioning, and social communication needs. This role includes literacy-focused intervention, language-based reading support, and work with neurodivergent learners within both clinic and virtual settings.
