Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and supportive educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple sites near Falls Church, VA, making a meaningful impact on the communication skills and overall growth of students from diverse backgrounds. This contract assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 12, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule that provides stability and work-life balance. Leverage your expertise to provide both assessment and intervention in collaboration with other professionals, empowering students to reach their fullest potential. The position welcomes both experienced SLPs with CCC and motivated Clinical Fellows (CFY), provided you hold an active Virginia SLP license and are ready to work onsite.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and up-to-date Virginia SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; clinical fellows considered Previous school-based SLP experience is valuable, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered Committed to working exclusively onsite for the contract Ability to work effectively within multiple school locations (please provide your ZIP code in your application) Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with a range of needs across various school settings Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain thorough progress documentation Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to create a comprehensive support network Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress Why Consider This Opportunity?Stable weekly schedule:
