A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

7 Senses Therapy Center, Inc is seeking a full-time Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our awesome team of experts! What Am I Going to Do? Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate speech and language disorders. Caseloads typically consist of kiddos with phonological disorders, fluency disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, CAS, articulation disorders, and pragmatic disorders, with some occasional dysarthria and feeding! Develop and implement family-centered and neurodiversity-affirming plans of care. Provide evidence-based intervention to achieve therapeutic progress. Collaborate with families, therapy team, medical team, and educational team as needed to support patient development. Complete necessary documentation in EMR system with adherence to all federal, state, and facility deadlines. Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development. What Qualifications Do I Need? Completion of Master's or Doctorate degree in Communication Sciences or a related field from an accredited institution. Active license (in good standing) to practice as an SLP in the state of Virginia. CFs welcome!
