Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Galax, VA. This full-time assignment covers a maternity leave for approximately 8-12 weeks, with an immediate start available. You'll take on a primary caseload of elementary students (around 60 total) and can provide services either onsite or through teletherapy, depending on preference and need. Bring your knowledge in pediatric speech therapy and school-based intervention to help children develop crucial communication skills in a supportive educational environment. New graduates (CFYs) and experienced SLPs are welcome.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Speech-Language Pathology License (VA SLP) Experience or strong interest in providing therapy to pediatric/elementary school populations Comfortable with IEP documentation and collaborating with educational teams Skilled in evaluation, progress monitoring, and therapy planning for a diverse range of speech and language needs Availability to start as soon as possible for a full-time contract (8-12 weeks) Open to both onsite and teletherapy service delivery (experience with teletherapy is a plus)
