In this flexible contract role, youll collaborate closely with students, families, and school teams to help students reach their communication goals in a supportive environment. Qualifications:

Active Virginia SLP license required Comfort and knowledge with ABA principles and verbal behavior Openness to candidates with their CCC, those currently in their CF year, and those experienced with pediatric caseloads Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and school-based service delivery is valued Experience or strong interest in working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices (Proloquo2, Touch Chat preferred) Experience with students exhibiting significant behavioral challenges (aggression, self-injury, property destruction) considered a plus SLPA applicants with relevant school or healthcare background are also encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population Utilize evidence-based practices, including ABA and verbal behavior strategies Implement and support AAC device use for optimal student communication Maintain accurate records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Adapt interventions to virtual and in-person settings as needed
