Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a K-12 caseload. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) involves providing vital services at two locations, covering maternity leaves for essential team members. If you're passionate about helping students reach their communication goals and are open to collaborating with educators and families, this could be a rewarding match. Candidates holding their SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply. If you have a specific caseload preference within the K-12 range, your input is valued and can be accommodated whenever possible.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license (or eligibility) in the state Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered Previous experience with school-age children is desirable Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and schedules

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy to students across K-12 Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff for comprehensive student care Document sessions and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines Provide guidance to classroom staff on communication strategies Support students through both short-term and ongoing interventions during the maternity leave coverage periods Perks of the
