Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential services in a school setting based in Moneta, VA. The position is onsite, offering flexibility for candidates to choose either full-time or part-time hours according to their preference. This role is structured as a contract assignment for the full school year. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The professional will collaborate with educators and other specialists to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs. Maintaining accurate records and communicating progress to parents and staff are also integral parts of the job.
Qualifications and experience desired:
Valid credentials as an SLP or SLPA. Experience working in a school environment preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to supporting student development in speech and language.
