Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting while enhancing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-27 school year. This contract-to-hire opportunity is available for both full-time and part-time candidates at the elementary level, supporting students' communication development and academic growth.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Active state SLP license and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Previous experience working in a school environment, preferably with K-5 students Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive support and creative intervention strategies Conduct screenings, participate in eligibility meetings, and provide guidance to educational staff and parents
