Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year, serving students in grades K-12. This contract role is located in Ridgeway, VA, within a supportive school setting dedicated to providing quality speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students K-12 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Provide direct therapy and support to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state Speech-Language Pathology license or certification Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings Strong knowledge of speech and language development as well as intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a caseload effectively and adapt to diverse student needs
