Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Provide essential speech-language support in an educational setting located in Salem, VA. This contract position offers flexibility for candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours for the full school year. The role is onsite, allowing you to engage directly with students and school staff to enhance communication skills and support academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students within the school setting. Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans to address speech and language needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom. Maintain accurate records of student progress and report regularly to school administration. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Experience working in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to full school-year contract with flexibility for full or part-time schedules.Location:
