Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging school-based environment where students rely on your specialized skills to support their communication growth. This full-time contract opportunity is available with an immediate start date and continues through May 28, 2027, serving a district in the Winchester, VA area. You'll step into an onsite role, replacing a virtual position, and provide meaningful, daily support to diverse student needs.

Qualifications:

Active SLP license in the state of Virginia Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) School-based experience, especially in speech services, strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student progress Commitment to providing onsite therapy and engaging fully in the educational environment

Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions to students as prescribed in their IEPs Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop/update treatment plans in accordance with district and state guidelines Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistency and maximize student outcomes Support case management responsibilities, including participating in IEP meetings and team discussions Utilize current best practices and evidence-based therapy methods to address a variety of communication disorders This is a 37.5-hour-per-week position, offering the support of an established educational community and a collaborative team that values your expertise.
