Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of Virginia. Previous experience working in a school environment, preferably with elementary-age children. Ability to work independently on-site, collaborating effectively with educators and families. Completion of time-sensitive credentialing, including a TB test and an on-site district background check with HR.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students at a single campus, creating personalized treatment plans. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Document student progress, prepare detailed reports, and participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and ensure therapy goals are integrated into classroom activities. Maintain compliance with all educational and clinical guidelines as set by the district and state regulations.

Position Details:

Contract role running through late May. Part-time schedule with 18.75 hours per week (.5 FTE). Direct on-site services requiredremote work is not available for this role.
