Responsibilities:

Conduct teletherapy sessions with students requiring speech and language support, primarily through virtual platforms. Provide coverage for a current speech-language pathologist on leave, managing a caseload of students with a focus on two high-needs individuals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs and progress. Collaborate with educators and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and support for each student. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports aligned with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required. Experience with telespeech or teletherapy practices, preferably in an educational setting. Ability to manage a caseload of students, including those with complex communication needs. Strong communication skills and proficiency in virtual therapy platforms. Availability for approximately 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for part-time arrangements based on minimum requirements.

Location:

Services will be provided remotely to students in Stafford County Public Schools, Virginia, from November 12th through January 4th.
