Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication and academic needs in a vibrant educational environment. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about working with children and making a lasting impact. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote students' success. Competitive compensation—ranging from $45 to $55 an hour, based on your experience and education—ensures your expertise is valued. You'll also enjoy weekly pay, providing consistency and convenience.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Experience or enthusiasm for working in school settings or with pediatric populations Open to SLPs with CCC or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Commitment to supporting students' diverse needs in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, addressing communication disorders and supporting educational achievement Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress toward goals Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic care and effective interventions Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and legal standards Engage with professional development and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology Enjoy access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, plus 401k matching to invest in your future.
