Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for the 2026-2027 school year, providing in-person services to an elementary caseload in Montross, VA. This contract role offers a meaningful opportunity to support young students' communication development and early academic success.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff Provide direct therapy services and classroom-based support as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with elementary-aged populations preferred
