Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a supportive and collaborative school setting. This full-time, contract role offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 caseload throughout the full school year, providing essential services and fostering growth among learners of all ages. The ideal candidate will thrive onsite, building meaningful relationships and engaging directly with students and staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure for practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered) Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Ability to manage and serve students across K-12 with a variety of communication needs Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Dedication to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Role and Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals and state requirements Provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports for each student Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and relevant school events Offer support and education to staff and families regarding student needs and progress This onsite position allows for real-time collaboration and immediate support for your students and colleagues, all in a rewarding, fast-paced, and positive school environment with a full-year contract.
