9641647-22580 Job Description Embark on an exciting contract assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Woodford, VA. This full-time opportunity consists of 37.5 hours per week and offers the chance to make an immediate impact, as youll be providing coverage for two maternity leaves across the academic year. Youll work with a K-12 caseloadpreferences for specific age groups are welcomed and can be accommodated whenever possible. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and will receive guidance and support as they begin or continue their professional journey.
Qualifications and Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible for SLP-CCC credentials Valid state licensure (or eligibility) Experience in a school setting is preferred, but motivated Clinical Fellows will be considered Strong communication and collaboration abilities Passion for supporting students communication and language development
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and other staff to promote student success Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school policies Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of your caseload while ensuring a supportive learning environment This position offers the stability of a full-time schedule while providing varied and meaningful work with students across grade levels.
