Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opening opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within a school setting. This contract position is based in Woodstock, VA, serving students across a broad grade range from Pre-K through high school. Key qualifications and desired experience include: Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with pediatric populations in early childhood, elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) settings Familiarity with early childhood development and pre-school interventions Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse student needs Responsibilities for this role involve: Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Developing and delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student goals Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies Participating in team meetings and contributing to inclusive educational planning Benefits of this contract role include the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills and development in a supportive educational environment.
