Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role providing vital support to students as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. This position, with a start date of August 25th and concluding June 15th, is an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference within an educational setting near Chelsea, VT. As a key contributor, you will support students' communication skills, partner with educators and families, and help create accessible learning experiences.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLP license in Vermont (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and Medicaid billing Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Responsibilities Include:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students Participating in the IEP process and attending relevant meetings Maintaining detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions Consulting with staff and providing strategies to support diverse communication needs in the classroom Engaging with families to provide education and facilitate carryover of skills into daily routines Discover a professional role that's both fulfilling and impactful, set within an energizing school community.
