White River Junction, VT area Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT & NHcovers more than 70 towns delivering superior nursing, rehabilitation, hospice, and personal care services with proven effectiveness, integrity, and compassion. Our only goal is to help the people in our communities. When you join Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT & NH, you'll become part of a dedicated team delivering outstanding home health and hospice services that enrich the lives of the people we serve. Speech Language Pathologistsat VNH provide professional speech, language, and hearing services to clients in their homes. SLPs also provide speech language pathology education to staff, patients and other members of the patient's support team. The SLP will: Screen, evaluate, diagnose, schedule and treat patients with communication disorders and dysphasia. Document patients' diagnosis, treatment, and progress. Communicate patient care information as appropriate to outside referrers and team members. Educate patientfamily concerning patient's disability, progress, and potential. Coordinate home visits with other homecare staff. Establish and maintain good public relations by becoming a local resource for communication disorder information. Prepare and participate in continuing education and in-service sessions for agency staff and outside agencies. Participate with other team members in prevention programs as consultant andor therapist. Participate in formal investigative studies as determined in consultation with program Director. Maintain knowledge of homecare regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Pathology required. Professional licensure in both Vermont and New Hampshire required. Salary Range (depending on experience):

$35.07
