Speech Language Pathologist in Shaftsbury, VT

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a flexible, part-time contract role. This position offers the opportunity to work up to 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a school-based setting, supporting students' communication growth through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Begin making a positive impact as soon as possible and provide essential services that help young learners succeed.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Valid SLP license in Vermont or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote student success Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate records Contribute to IEP development, goal setting, and student support plans Participate in team meetings as needed Enjoy a rewarding schedule with part-time hours that allow you to balance your professional and personal commitments, all while making a meaningful contribution to students' achievement and confidence.
