A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available to provide services within a school setting serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Two contract positions are open:
one maternity leave coverage and one part-time role.
Assignment Details:
Maternity leave position: August 19, 2026 - October 31, 2026 Part-time position: August 19, 2026 - July 14, 2027
Location:
Waitsfield, VT Service delivery includes both direct and indirect speech-language pathology services Guaranteed hours with no additional responsibilities such as bus duty or parent pickup Travel therapists may be eligible for stipends
Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or current Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or certification in school-based speech-language services preferred Familiarity with telespeech or telepractice speech therapy methods advantageous Ability to deliver age-appropriate therapy for K-12 students
