Job Description

Are you a Pediatric Speech Therapist who wants to work in a fun, multidisciplinary outpatient clinic with a team that thinks outside the box when it comes to service delivery? At Waypoint Pediatric Therapies, we value innovative thinking and provide personalized therapy programs in a collaborative, evidence-based practice. We are hiring for both our Issaquah and Bellevue clinics. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Your work will directly impact patients of all ages, including infants and children, who face challenges related to speech, language, and oral/feeding/swallowing skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/feeding/swallowing abilities. Collaborate with families and caregivers to understand each patient's unique needs. Develop personalized care plans that promote skill development through play and other engaging techniques. Work closely with families to support their child's growth and participation in daily activities. Educate caregivers on managing speech-related challenges at home. Stay updated on the latest techniques and evidence-based practices in speech therapy. Engage in ongoing learning to enhance your skills and bring innovative approaches to our practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Washington state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Prior experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required. New grads will be considered because we have a great mentoring and training program in place! Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Compassion, patience, and creativity in engaging patients during therapy sessions.
Work Environment:
You will be part of a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic. Collaborate with other therapists (e.g., occupational therapists, physical therapists) to provide holistic care. Embrace innovative thinking and evidence-based practices.

$75,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
