Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and schools as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in the Chehalis, WA area. In this dynamic, school-based role, you'll play a vital part in helping children and young adults overcome speech and language challenges, making a lasting difference in their educational journey. In this position, your day-to-day will involve: Conducting thorough evaluations of students facing speech and language disorders Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions to target speech and language goals Carefully monitoring and documenting students' progress across sessions Collaborating seamlessly with a diverse team of professionals to ensure holistic care Actively engaging and educating families in the therapy process, fostering positive outcomes Candidates should possess: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology Ideally, the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting An active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology This contract role offers a competitive compensation package alongside comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional support.
