9665892-99004 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in grades 6-12 as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the end of the first semester. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) focuses on making a positive, lasting impact on students communication skills while collaborating within a supportive educational environment. Compensation for this position ranges between $45 and $55 per hour, offering a competitive rate for your expertise and dedication.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY candidates may be considered Previous experience working in a school setting, especially with middle and high school students, is highly valued Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of 6-12th grade students Assess students needs, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track measurable progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to integrate speech goals within students educational plans Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, maintaining thorough and timely documentation Develop engaging therapy materials tailored for adolescents Support students in achieving educational and social communication success Seize the chance to enhance your career, positively influence young lives, and work alongside passionate educators.
