• Key Responsibilities
• Assessment & Evaluation
• + Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings. + Assess communication skills including articulation, fluency, voice, receptive language, and expressive language. + Determine eligibility for speech-language services and develop recommendations for intervention.
• Therapy & Intervention
• + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals. + Provide direct speech-language therapy services. + Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. + Support students using communication devices and assistive technology when appropriate.
• Collaboration & Consultation
• + Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families. + Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings. + Provide recommendations and strategies to promote communication success across educational settings.
• Documentation & Compliance
• + Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including: + Evaluation reports + Progress notes + IEP documentation + Treatment plans + Activity logs + Ensure compliance with all federal, state, district, and professional standards.
• Minimum Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• in the state of assignment. + Ability to comply with all professional standards of practice. + Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age.
