Position Details:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Immediate start with assignment through June 2027 Contract opportunity in a supportive educational setting in the Tacoma area
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current SLP licensure in Washington State (or ability to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement effective intervention plans tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to a diverse school caseload Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student support Conduct comprehensive student assessments and progress monitoring Provide consultation and resources for staff to facilitate successful inclusion strategies Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to student meetings and interventions Why consider this position?
