Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential support to students with developmental disabilities at an onsite school location in Maple Valley, WA. This role focuses on improving student participation in the classroom by addressing speech, language, and communication needs through direct therapy and collaboration with the IEP team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with developmental disabilities, supporting their classroom engagement. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and communication disorders. Collaborate with the IEP team to develop and implement individualized goals and provide ongoing support. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary support approach.
Qualifications:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Washington. Eligible candidates include those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Must hold an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification. Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder assessment and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families.
